What are the requirements for a visa application to Thailand regarding flight bookings and accommodation?
If you book flights through the VIETJET app be aware that domestic fares are dealt with in Vietnam ONLY however international to Thailand are a different company and any inquiry must be directed to Thailand . Though it appears it is one company they will not issue credits to each other or share. The call centre number shown in the web site is for Vietnam ONLY . Thai vietjet is +6620891909 . I just wasted an international flight ! Fly AIRASIA as a much better and professional low cost airline .

No , No you need proof of onward travel within the period of any visa , some people think they can get an extension, but first you need to get to that point 👍😎✌

in the e-visa online application, you can give an intended departure date that lies within the 90 days you can get out of a single entry Tourist Visa. However, some embassies are known to demand an intended departure date that is within 60 days. You need to find out if the embassy accepts a date after 60 days, if needed you can prove it with your return ticket

Buy a onward ticket about £14 and when you enter Thailand, just put it in the bin ,better safe than sorry

If you provided proof on flight out of Thailand with your visa application and visa granted should not be a problem but also inform airline in advance as sometimes their staff do not have a good knowledge about Thai visas

Briana Green If you apply for e visa on official Thai government site it will specify documents required

Yes, it says departure flight and proof of accomodation are required. But it does not specify if its OK for your documents to show a stay longer than 60 days, for the 60 day visa, if you plan to do a standard 30-day in-country extension.

Unless you have to supply proof which Australia doesn't you can make up your flight within the 60 days just go online find date and a flight number to enter.

Thai immigration are unlikely to care but your airline might have an issue. Best to check with them.
