Update:

My first 90 day reporting on a 1yr Non-O Visa extension.

Some people said I could apply for my first 90 day report Online and I had a chance of being accepted.

I went online and submitted my TM47 10 days prior to my Oct 5 due date. Today since it still was showing “pending” I decided to go ahead and make the trip out to Changwattana and do it in person. Got in the que w 90 people in front of me. Waited nearly 2 hrs and 10 min before they called me up the online submission came back “rejected”.

When they called me up I asked why it was rejected and she said “In Bangkok, your 1st 90- day report must be submitted in person and now your second 90 day reporting can now be done online”.

She only wanted to see a new TM47 filled out and a copy of my TM30. She didn’t need a copy of my passport and only needed my original. Didn’t ask me anything else except what my cellphone number was.

Took about 5 mins and she handed me my passport back. Then she said “your next 90-day report can be done online up to 15 days prior to the due date BUT must be submitted at least 7 days before the due date to give us ample time to process it. If done less than 7 days before the due date it will prob be rejected and u will need to come in person one the date it is due or no more than 7 days after the due date”.

I hope this helps to clarify the 1st 90-day online submission. I would still encourage others to try it first time. Give them at least 7-15 days prior to the due date for a better chance. But also remember she also said my 1st submission needed to be “in-person”. I suspect though some are being approved while others are not.

Hi,

My friend is just about to board the plane from Australia to Bangkok, does anyone know if he will still be able to do 1 night in Bangkok or if with the changes he will have to do 7 days?

I understand it’s all still being announced but just seeing a lot of conflicting info and he is flying in less then 2 hours.

Hello, I am from the USA currently on a tourist amnesty ending November 30. I've seen others saying they are getting until the end of the year. I'm in Bangkok, do you know if I can get extended until the end of the year?

Thanks all!
