Can I extend my tourist amnesty in Thailand until the end of the year if it ends on November 30?
Hello, I am from the USA currently on a tourist amnesty ending November 30. I've seen others saying they are getting until the end of the year. I'm in Bangkok, do you know if I can get extended until the end of the year?
Thanks all!

Answer summary
A user inquired about extending their tourist amnesty, which ends on November 30, having seen conflicting information regarding its duration. Responses clarified that the amnesty actually ended on October 31 and that an extension could only have been applied for prior to that date. Others suggested visiting the immigration office before the end of November to seek an extension.

that will work OR email them and they'll send you an email stating they don't issue the letter

You can't be on 'amnesty' until the end of Nov because amnesty ran out Oct 31st. You had to have applied for an extension BEFORE the amnesty ran out to get stamped until Nov 30.
You print out the us consulate screen grab stating they don't issue embassy letters any more and you go to MTT to apply for a 60 day extension for 1900baht.
