We booked for 28th Oct to Phuket, Hotel not paid, CEO only registered.

I thought we wait till today if there is officially new rules from 1.11. but so far there isnโ€™t yet ?

If we paid for two PCR Tests and only need one, do they give refund ?

Iโ€˜m wondering if we arrive on 28th I would need only one test if the new rules are official ? Or would we have to change our flight to 1.11. ? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”

TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers arriving in Phuket on October 28th should prepare to adhere to the existing rules, which generally require completing the full testing schedule, including two PCR tests, as the new regulations do not appear to be finalized. If travelers need to cancel the third test due to new rules, they may request a refund. To ensure compliance and avoid potential issues, some recommend rescheduling flights to November 1st after the anticipated new guidelines are officially released.

Best to change arrival to November 1 and after IMHO

But I recommend making no bookings until the details of changes are in fact official and published in Royal Gazette... Hopefully by end of next week.

It's unlikely the the Nov 1 rules will be approved and published with full details until the last moment, probably about oct 28th.

It's extremely likely that if you enter Oct 28th, the new rules will not apply to you but will need to finish the sandbox as you started. This has been the way with all the changes.

I checked with my airline and they also donโ€™t have a flight arriving on 1st so we just keep it as it is

Always assume if you arrive before1 Nov old rules apply and you do the full testing schedule and stay 7 days in SHA+/ ASQ . As there are no new rules approved it's all at your own risk what you do.

ok letโ€™s see, I heart in Indonesia they changed now from 8 to 5 days quarantine and people could check out on the filth even they started where it was still 8 days.

They do refund for 3rd test, if you request it. Just go as planned and enjoy your holiday in Phuket.

why 3rd test? In the moment only 2 tests needed, in November maybe only 1

nobody knows yet. Have to wait for official announcement

yes sure, but why did you write 3rd test ?

@Sebastian ******
because it was 3 tests initially, when Sandbox started. And those who booked 3 tests, were refunded for that.
