A general update, ad it to timeline if you want.

*Non imm O ME to 1 year extension

*No seasoned money, no income in the Kingdom.

*Application + photo

(*Additional penalty papers from L1 counter 28, document check. Filled them in).

*Passport copy (visa, former 60 day extension, departure card), signed

*Id cars of wife copy, signed

*Tabian baan/house book copy, signed

*Affidavit from my embassy declaring more than 40k a month in income from my government

*Printed map to home from google maps

*Hand drawn map

*Pictures outside apartment door with number

*Picture outside the "condo"

*Pictures of family relations, including marriage, back to 2013.

What was missing:

1. Tm30 (need for, according to officer, apartment owners ID, title deed, power pf attorney and money for fine... Pretty sure I will stand for that or no papers, whatever).

2. Get tm30 at muang thong thani

3. Get extra photos (living room, kitchen, all same room but yeah photos inside).

4. Change selfie photo outside door to not be mirrored so "20" looks like 20 and not backwards, if that makes sense...

I was not charged anything, and I was told to come back to the same officer.

While they did discuss my affidavit for 30 mins they concluded although they didn't believe I got money for studying (so my embassy is lying? Lol), they are after all bureaucrats and as long as papers were correct it was all fine, apart from tm30 and some photos.

Just a heads up for anyone going from non imm "o" ME to 1 year extension.

(Also, telling them I am doing a master which could go on to PhD at Thammasat was no help, only created questions of why not ED visa etc. Sometimes less info is better).

Cheers
