I've been trying to reach the consulate for 14 days. By phone and mail. But no chance. What kind of visa should I apply? DTV? And when should I apply for it? Thank you very much for your help. Hi, I am on a non-B visa extension based on a work permit. I am leaving my job at the end of the month, flight out of Thailand on the 30th. Is it myself or my employer who is responsible for cancelling the work permit and visa? Do I need to ask them for a letter to take to immigration, like in the case of the student visa, or am I OK to just leave at the end of the notice period? I would like to have the option of returning on a tourist stamp in the future.

Hey you guys. I need help once again. So I got my wife thai citizenship sorted and she can enter the country as a thai. But now I need help with the marriage visa. How can I get a thai bank account on a tourist visa? How can I even apply for the marriage visa if I don’t have a thai bank account. No I can’t apply from Germany because they are super slow with giving me my residency here. I’m also doing the 40k baht method not the 400k method. Also I’m American. I have a pension statement. I also I have statements from my German bank that says I have been receiving my pension for over 2 years. So what do I need to actually start my marriage visa in Thailand?

here's an interesting post from there about a person who wasn't Singaporean getting a year-long, multi-entry Non-O based on marriage to a thai from the Thai consulate in Singapore.

He did show proof of financials but he did get the visa too!!
