Hi we will travel to Vietnam to apply for the dtv. My husband will be the main applicant and me and our 3 children will be the dependants and will apply once his has been accepted. I have read each country has different requirements for the funds. Can the money just be in my husbands bank for us all? Thankyou

I'd like to ask if anyone has got their DTV in one country and added/applied dependants to the DTV from a different country? We've been waiting weeks for the Canberra office in Australia and have flights booked. Their website says ten working days and we called to confirm but gave ourselves an extra few weeks after those ten days to as apply for the dependant visas but STILL don't have the DTV 😭

We need to be out of Australia and thinking of applying in Penang for the dependant visas. Will this be an issue?

If I’m adding my husband and son as dependants, how much time will that add? Do I get approval first for me and then begin the application to add as dependants. Or do I do this simultaneously?

Can I ask for the non-immigrant O (accompagnant) from thailand or do I have to leave ?

We are family of 4 and have tickets for February 8.

1. Is it risky to apply at 1.1, wait for my visa and then the dependants'? Is it enough time?

2. If we apply for dtv visa and won't get it until the flight, can we still come on tourist visa and apply again from Vietnam or similar? The question is - do the process of the dtv stops the opportunity to come as tourists? To apply again from somewhere else?

We can't change our flight, it is fixed and very expensive.

We have all the documents ready. House waiting for us and school as well.

When applying for a non-o dependant visa (based on husband’s non-b and work permit) do you get a 3 month visa first and then a 1 year or is it immediately a 1 year visa?
