Hello, and I apologize if this question has been asked before. My husband and I are in Vietnam applying for an SETV. We've sent them our bank statements for the last months all showing the amounts over20,000 THB, but they are requesting the following, and I'm not sure what more they want ? Any help is appreciated!🙏

Financial evidence: an amount of no less than 20,000 THB (e.g., bank statements for the last three months, sponsorship letter) : Provide the relevant bank account document showing your transactions over the past three months, with a balance no less than 20,000 Baht.

Hello

Two questions:

1. Do I need to show a return flight when applying SETV visa? Yes I will have a onward ticket when landing in Bangkok

2. Me and wife gonna stay hotel first week before traveling to her house, does she still need to write an invite or is it enough to show the hotel booking? Yes I know when we get to her house we need to go to the immigration

Many thanks in advance 🙏

A "SETV" cannot be gotten online as an American in Japan (screenshot proof attached). Later I will travel to Germany, it says I can get one online there. If I fly GERMANY -> PHILIPPINES (2 weeks) -> THAILAND with such a visa, will I be allowed entry? Or will they force me to fly direct from Germany to be allowed admission? Thank you.

ATTENTION AUZZIE MEMBERS

The thai consulate in Sydney has a new pop up when you go to their website saying they will go live on the eVisa website for online applications on March 19th

AND

they say they will only accept applications from people who live in NSW after that date

They say you can apply until Mar 9th the 'old way' (the way they do it now)

Please make a note of it

My husband and I, US citizens, will be traveling to Chiang Mai on November 29 and hope to stay until March or April. We have been looking through the group posts daily and would like clarification regarding Visas.

We want to travel to neighboring countries during our stay in CM and understand that with an METV we can travel in/out of Thailand multiple times. Our question is, when applying for an METV with the Thai embassy (in US), do we need to show one set of entering/leaving Thailand or multiple proofs of travel in and back into Thailand to ensure they grant us the METV? Do we need to show the same proof of travel to Thai Immigration when initially arriving in Thailand? We understand that the airlines want to see onward travel when departing the US. Does Thai Immigration care?

If we get a SETV do we have to stay in Thailand for 60 days before we can travel out and back into the country? In this case what proof of travel do we need to show the Thai Embassy (in US) when getting our visas? Do we need to show the same proof of travel to Thai Immigration when we arrive in Thailand? We understand that the airlines want to see onward travel when departing the US. Does Thai Immigration care?

We understand we can get extensions on both visas to stay longer in Thailand.

One last question, is there an advantage to going to the Thai Embassy in US to apply for our Visas instead of doing an E-Visa?

We hope we are clear in our questions.

Hi guys!

I'm currently in Namibia and have been trying to apply for tourist visa here but the process is taking forever and having difficulties. However I got information that Namibians can travel to Malaysia without a visa and apply for Thailand visa upon arrival! If this is so can I please get all necessary information/ documents required for this!

Thank you

Dear community members,

I am seeking your help and advice regarding the type of visa my husband and I need to deliver our baby in Thailand. My husband is American and over 50 years old, while I am Vietnamese. We are hoping to stay in Thailand for more than 6 months to ensure a safe delivery and proper post-natal care for our new baby.

We understand that we need to apply for a proper visa to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience. However, we are confused about the type of visa we should apply for.

We would be grateful if anyone who has previous experience or knowledge about visa requirements for non-Thai nationals delivering a baby in Thailand could provide us with some guidance. Specifically, we are looking for information on the types of visa available, their requirements, and application procedures.

Thank you all in advance for your help and support. We appreciate any information or advice you can offer.
