TLDR : Answer Summary
If a Thai immigration officer denies your visa upon arrival, you will likely be sent back to your point of departure, possibly at your own expense. You could also be held in immigration detention at the airport until you arrange a flight back, typically on the same airline you arrived with. However, if you are eligible for visa exempt entry, and can provide proof of your exit flight and accommodation details, you may still gain entry into Thailand.
Folks thank you for your helpful replies. I believe that the OP has his answers. We wish him success in getting either his SETV single entry tourist visa or visa exempt entry on arrival into Thailand.
From what the OP has shared with us, it's our opinion that he will be admitted into Thailand as Visa Exempt Entry.
If the Thai Immigration Officer denies you entry into Thailand, likely will be sent back to the City you flew from to Thailand, or your home country. At your expense.
You have asked two times in recent days about your planned visit to Thailand.
Moderators both times replied to you using PM messages. It's possible you have not seen the replies.
I will post them FYI.
In my opinion, if you don't receive the Thai SETV single entry tourist visa which you have applied for, as you are eligible for visa exempt entry into Thailand, with your limited visits to Thailand, you will be allowed in as Visa Exempt Entry. Given 60 days on arrival Plus one 30 day extension of stay available for 1900 Thai baht at your local Thai Immigration office.
Have PROOF of your flight ✈️ departing Thailand within the 89 days from your arrival date...along with the address of where you will be living during the first week of your arrival, and the equivalent of 20,000 Thai baht in CASH to show Thai Immigration Officers if you are asked.
