Change of schools

Hi,

I couldn’t find any posts regarding this topic, so I’m starting a new one.

Is there someone who has changed schools in Thailand with ED / Guardian visa being cancelled by the previous school and “transferred” to the new one? What was your experience like?

We just got the full year visa last month and decided to change schools. Did you need the full set of docs as for the first prolongation? (Birth certificates, bank docs, photos, school docs etc etc), or is there a more lean process to it?

We are in Phuket and got sparse information from both schools so far. Planning to go to immigration shortly and would like to be prepared, so any info is useful. Thanks!

Hi guys,

I'm living in Phuket and currently am on a ed visa expiring next year in April. I'll be 51 at that time.

I'm planning on then go for a O visa + extension based on retirement (90 days O visa, followed by a 1 year extension based on retirement) as I already meet all the requirements.

So do you guys know if I'll be able to apply for it on my own within the country (here in Phuket) OR if I'll have to do so through an agency ?

Thanks in advance for any advice or input.

Cheers

Hi all! we are moving from the UK to Phuket in November and was wondering if it is better for us to get a retirement visa here in the UK or wait until we arrive in Thailand? Also the 800,000 baht per person needed for the visa can this be in a joint uk account or would we need separate accounts? thanks
