Does anyone know if things have changed at Phu Nam Ron border for South African passport holder's? If still not allowed does anyone know the reason for it not being accepted? I have a non o multiple entry marraige visa from Savannakhet. Thank you very much.

Hi, I am in Bangkok with my family, wife and 2 young kids. I am waiting for some work things to pan out, and Thailand is an affordable place to do so. We are here on 30 day visas. We extended once in the country and we had set up a private border run with a company called SWD Visa run, They told us to just contact them a bit before we needed to go. I have contacted them and they just let me know that they are too busy and can't do it. Now I am looking for options. This is our first run. They were nice enough to tell us the crossing they use, and that we could rent a car ourselves, I have just never done it. The border is to Myanmar. Any tips on what I could/should do would be a great help! Thanks!

Ralph Davidson is asking in another topic

Ralph Davidson Hope this query fits admins guidelines. Any suggestions as to which border crossings are favourable at the moment for 3 month renewels for marriage visa - looking for day trips to Myanmar or Cambodia. (visa was obtained august in savannakhet and first renewal was trip to Oz.) Asking because I haven't done a visa run in years and am not up to speed. I use to use Poipet. Cheers.
