Hi, I am in Bangkok with my family, wife and 2 young kids. I am waiting for some work things to pan out, and Thailand is an affordable place to do so.  We are here on 30 day visas. We extended once in the country and we had set up a private border run with a company called SWD Visa run, They told us to just contact them a bit before we needed to go. I have contacted them and they just let me know that they are too busy and can't do it. Now I am looking for options. This is our first run. They were nice enough to tell us the crossing they use, and that we could rent a car ourselves, I have just never done it. The border is to Myanmar. Any tips on what I could/should do would be a great help! Thanks!

, I'm sorry i deleted that comment, BUT it's not brain science or rocket surgery as far as what you do at the burma border at Phu Nam Ron,

and they're not gonna be the only foreigner at that border bouncing out and back in for a new entry stamp either.

AT that border you; stamp out of thailand, pay 960 baht to get lugged across no-mans land, stamp in and out of burma, get lugged back across no-mans land so you can stamp into thailand. 　

Like I said, Google is your friend as far a "visa run bangkok" and the HUNDREDS or hits that it will turn up with companies that specialize in lugging people there and back every day.

There are several visa run companies that lug people from Bangkok to the border every day.

The border they are talking about you use is called the Phu Nam Ron border with Mynamar in Kanchanaburi province.

Google visa run bangkok and you'll find companies that will lug you there and back.

... Try and find another visarun company. Amorat is very good. I've been in Thailand for more than 5-years. I won't even attempt a visrun on my own. The Law changes too much. Good luck!
