I've applied more than 10 working days ago and it seems like my application hasn't been processed yet. Would it be a good idea to just go at the Embassy physically and ask about it or could they get annoyed by this and reject my application? That way I could also answer any questions they might have on the spot but that may backfire so I'd rather ask first. Thank you

Hello, I was just curious how long some of you had to wait for your LTR? My application has been in final review for some time and 3 1/2 months since the submission. When I called BOI, they said it’s with the relevant government agencies, but no one has asked me for any additional documents. Is it possible that these departments are just taking a long time? 3 1/2 months seems quite long relative to what other people seem to have experienced. Thanks.

I am back in France, working on getting my Non O so I can return to Thailand and get my ‘retirement visa’.

Unfortunately the Thai Embassy in Paris takes a very long time to issue visas so, hypothetically: if I don’t get the Non O in time for my flight, can I enter on Visa Exempt and then when the Non O arrives by email, can I ‘validate it’ without having to return all the way to France? Would this be risky or unadvisable in any way?

P.s. It’s freezing here in France, 8 degrees Celsius! That’s really cold for this season, even for the Alps where I live. Having said that, I don’t miss the 42 degrees in Thailand in April! Wicked! I had never experienced heat so intense. Thank God for AC ☺️

Hello everyone, I just need to verify something to make sure that I understand well. I applied for a 60-day visa from my home country. Unfortunately it was not processed in the delay that I was expecting, so I finally entered Thailand on a 30-day visa on arrival. The embassy says my request for 60-day visa should be processed in the next few days.

My (revised) plan would be to extend my current visa for another 30 days, then exit Thailand and re-enter with my 60-day visa... Does it seem doable? Even if the dates that I submitted in me initial request obviously will be changed? Your opinion please! TIA

Hi, I applied for 60-Day Tourist Visa on Oct 5. It is now Oct 17 and I haven't heard anything. Still says application processing. I have emailed the US consulate with no response. My flight is Oct 23. What do I do?

How long are people waiting form submitting a Thai pass application online from confirmation? I have to upload my fit to fly covid test as am unvaxed. And as it has to be 72houra before departure….I am starting to flap 😬

Do the TP staff prioritize applications which are closest to departure dates?

I hear from some people on here having their applications approved almost instantly for departures that are months away & others whom are waiting weeks.

Does anyone know if immigration will be closed on the 28th and/or 29th, for the holiday?
