Hi! I'll be traveling for 3 months in Southeast-Asia this summer, and i want to travel Thailand for 60 days. I just discovered that i'm eligible for visa exemption, which allows me to travel Thailand for 30 days visa-free. So now i'm wondering;

Can i go to Thailand, travel there for the 30 days my Visa exemption allows me to, then fly to Vietnam to travel there for 2-3 weeks, will i then after Vietnam be able to fly back to Thailand to travel for another 30 days? Or do i have to wait a specific amount of time before i can use my Visa exemption in Thailand again?

Hi, can anyone please recommended a company for covid insurance (covering 20,000) for Thailand? Also would I need separate travel insurance? I'm looking on Mister Prakan at the basic Tune policy which is 4,399 for 3 months. Is this a reasonable price? Thanks

I’m hoping to get some help on the Covid insurance required to enter Thailand. My parents are from the USA and have Kaiser insurance. They are coming to Thailand in April. They called Kaiser and explained that they needed to show proof of Covid insurance with at least $20,000 coverage (but maybe it’s $50,000 because some websites say $20k and some say $50k... it's confusing). Kaiser said they are fully covered outside of the USA for accidents as well as Covid-19 treatment and this document is what Kaiser sent them back. I’m pretty sure this won’t work, since it doesn’t show any numbers of the coverage amounts. Am I correct, and if so is there any specific name for the document they need to show that we can ask Kaiser for? Also, the Kaiser paper says if my parents require Covid treatment in Thailand, they will need to pay for the treatment themselves and then file a reimbursement claim. I’m thinking that might not be the type of insurance that’s required to enter Thailand. If someone could please help clear up some of this we would really appreciate it!

I am in UK and just got a non-o visa by way of marriage but surprised it is valid for use up to 12 Dec 2022. It says length of stay 90 days and its multiple entry. It cost £150. I thought they were just issuing 90 day ones. Does this mean I will have to do a boarder run every 90 days which could be a bit awkward these days. Got a flight out on the 90 day mark but was not intending using it. Will I be OK with 90 day insurance but what about if I have to exit and come back in.

Hi guys, one of my friends is coming to Thailand with some questions and info I hadn't heard about.

He is coming from Romania by plane in about a week. He says he will get a visa-on-arrival for 15 days? (I thought it was 45 or 30 days but they keep changing it, it seems.) And he also said the visa-on-arrival is non-extendable. Is that right?

He plans on staying in Thailand for around 40 days, and he is wondering what would happen if he overstayed his visa-on-arrival. Besides the fine when leaving the country, would he still be able to fly around from city to city, or would he get stopped? He is thinking of eating the fine, no sweat, and traveling as per usual.

What do you think? Thanks for the help!
