My Indian husband is travelling from Vietnam to Thailand for 3 days, and plan to get a visa on arrival at the airport. He has been residing in Vietnam for 2 years and have vaccination from Vietnam.

Anyone please advise any updated Covid test requirement, insurance proof (minimum requirement) or bank statement to get the visa and enter the country?

Highly appreciate your info!

TLDR : Answer Summary
An Indian citizen traveling to Thailand from Vietnam for 3 days can obtain a visa on arrival without current Covid-19 entry restrictions. However, it is advisable to carry proof of funds, which must be shown in cash (10,000 baht or its equivalent in a major currency), as bank statements are not accepted. Health insurance may be required, though it appears not to be enforced for arrivals from Vietnam.

No covid requirements apply. However, as far as I'm aware insurance may be required as an Indian, though if arriving from Vietnam this shouldn't be enforced.

There are no covid related entry restrictions to enter Thailand.

If they ask to see proof of funds (10,000₿) then a bank statement won't work as they accept only proof in cash either baht or another major currency.

USD cash equivalent to 10,000B will be fine
