Hi,

I need information regarding applying for re-entry permit at the Suvarnabhumi airport. I am a student in Thailand who wants to go back home to Myanmar at July 1st (Monday) but couldn't apply for re-entry in advance before hitting the weekends. My flight boards around 10AM and yes I have an extended student visa.

What are the steps I need to take, what do I need and are there any concerns or precautions I could take applying re-entry right at the airport.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, a few day’s ago I ask a question bud it was refused,so I ask again with more information.

I have a non-o retirement visa and I’m planning to go on holiday to my family in Belgium.

What do I have to do when I return in Thailand.

Depart : 6 February. Return : 23 February.

Non-o retirement visa extension of stay permitted until 11 Dec. 2024.

In my passport I can read :

To keep your stay permit the re - entry permit must be made “before” leaving Thailand .

Must I go to Immigration to do that or can I do that in de airport the day I leave ,and what kind of papers do I need to fill in .

Regards,

I now understand I can only get reentry permit at Suvarnabhumi immigration office on the day of flying. What I would like to understand is can I go and get the stamp in the morning then leave the airport, returning at night for my flight? Thank you

Hi family, quick question

My covid extension is till April 20th. If I plan to leave Thailand before this date, should I go to the local immigration office to cancel the covid extension first? Thanks

I am a US citizen andhave a retirement visa. I am planning a very short trip to the USA in March and want to stay on top of current re-entry regulations, especially those concerning insurance.

Can you point me in the right direction?

Hi All,

Hope this may help others, like people have helped me previously to understand.

We arrived at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport yesterday at 9am local time from London.

The ‘Thailand Pass’ desk is very efficient they want to see the below:

- Thailand pass

- RT-PCR

- Boarding pass

- Landing form TM6 (if applicable)

- Passport

All paper and we were through in less than 10 mins.

Immigration was quick for us too (About 15 mins).

Collect luggage, had time to go to ATM and also get a Tourist SIM, then exited to where the quarantine hotel pick ups are.

Here not so efficient , bit of a free for all.

Lots of Reps with boards , desks with names of hotels etc.

Once you find your hotel they queue you up to wait for transport (we waited about 30 mins)

At hotel , check in and had to wait 45 mins for PCR Test. It’s one swab from mouth and one from nose. The nose one is not nice!

Then to the quarantine room.

They said test results would be 6-10 hours.

We received our results (both negative) via email 7.5 hours after the test at 7.15pm.

We were then allowed to leave the room and go for dinner , 7/11 etc.

We stayed Novotel hotel right near airport.

They print off your negative report, as I understand any other hotels you stay in Thailand will want to see it on arrival.
