Due to being away from Thailand, my Thai wife's Thai driver license expired in 2020. Her license was a 5 year. Mine expired in 2016 and was only a 1 year. Do I need to get International Driver's License before coming back to Thailand in order to renew them/get new ones? We plan to return to Thailand next month. I do have a pink ID card as we have a house over there.
In case he is staying in Thailand with Non-O retirement, and his driver's license is from different country from his passport with visa, Is it possible to get Thai driver's license transfer from valid international driver's license from another country? Maybe with just a bit of additional step?
One of my friend wants to get Thai driver's license, and he has dual passports. Staying here with his Non-O visa on one of his passports. He has valid international driver's license of the country of another passport. Is there any possible way to "convert" to Thai one other than following the all proper process?
I tried to find the previous post, but could not find the info well enough..
Knowing I will relocate to Thailand for work, I got an international driver's license from my home country from a legit company that issues international driver's license. My government-issued national driver's license has expired. My consulate won't translate my international driver's license for me, as the government did not issue it. I have my residence certificate. I am stuck. What can be done? Please help. Thanks.
