TLDR : Answer Summary
The time it takes to receive PCR test results for the Thailand Test and Go program varies among individuals. Generally, results can take anywhere from 2 to 9 hours depending on the hotel and testing facility used. Most attendees reported an average wait of around 6 hours, though some experienced faster results, while others reported longer wait times. Additionally, it’s advised to confirm the details with the hotel prior to booking.

You also need to consider how long it will be if you test positive which is also a very real possibility.

I landed at 0630, tested by 0830 (after an hour of interviews with immigration!), and the results were back at 1200.

On average around 6 hours. Some hotels offer rapid results for a fee. These are typically 2-3 hours return time.

also really depends when your flight lands, I had a 6:30 am flight and had my results by 7pm and left the hotel, but if you came in at midnight?

Also where to stick you for 12 hours while waiting for the test considering you’re quarantined.

you don't have to stay the night if the results come back before then. But in the event there's a delay you have it.
