49% company owner (restaurant) = WP and SSO? 3 million baht used to buy a small townhouse and make it into a small restaurant downstairs. 49% foreigner owned, 51% between Thai wife and Thai sons. Thai wife, 2 Thai sons + another Thai legally working there = a WP and SSO for the 49% foreign owner? The capital (more than 2m THB) used to buy the property in the company name + 4 Thais legally employed can be used for such?

Business Question...

Any suggestions or insight on finding thai staff, and meeting the 4 staff social security requirement for WP?

If I hired one full time staff, is it strange or common to ask them if they know three others who would like to receive social security? Is this something a thai (say an elder or young person) would be up for?

Are there any cultural considerations when doing this (does it make someone look bad, seen as a dishonest, etc)? or is it something someone's granny etc would be happy to receive?

Work permits .. Is the new law, (published Nov 2018) in place re: Transfer of your work permit to ANY employer (or even job type), and/ or any district / town without voiding the permit, or having to obtain a new one? Apparently, the only requirement is that you inform the Departement of labour, and obviously only for job tipes that we are allowed to perform.
