To get my Thai licence will i need an international permit or will they accept my home licence ? got my O visa now so if anyone has done this please advise ,Cheers .

Anyone here recently got their 5 years Thai license? Earlier it was simple to convert but am not sure of the recent changes.

I have a full UK driving licence, but I didn’t get an International Driving Permit from a UK Post Office before coming to Thailand. Since I’m already here, what’s the best and most reliable way for me to obtain an IDP now? Are there any legitimate options available while abroad, or do I need to follow a specific process to get one issued from the UK?

I stay in Thailand for a couple of months every winter if I buy a motorcycle can drive it and get insurance on my UK driver's license?
