Question about Vietnam evisa

I submitted my application on April 25th

Right now it still currently say it’s still processing.

My flight leaves tomorrow night from Chiang Mai.

Is there anyway I can contact them and ensure it’s approved before my flight ?

Or do I have to just wait it out?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is concerned about their Vietnam e-visa application, which is still processing just one day before their flight from Chiang Mai. They inquire about contacting the visa authorities for faster approval. Community responses inform the user that it’s unlikely to receive the e-visa in time due to public holidays in Vietnam, suggesting alternatives like contacting a visa agent or changing flight plans. Users share their experiences and offer advice on the potential costs and challenges of getting a visa on short notice.

Immigration is closed until Monday. It's a public holiday in Vietnam today and tomorrow. You might be able to get an agent to get you a visa today, but it will cost a few hundred dollars since they need to bribe someone from immigration to come into the office.

You will never get it on time. It's public holidays and it takes ~3 - 5 working days usually. You applied on a Saturday, and this week is public holiday in VN..it will be approved around May the 8th

I had the same issue. Ended up coming in on visa exempt or visa on arrival, two days later tourist visa approved.

You should really give at least 7 days for them to process

Since you posted on Thailand Visa Advice Group instead instead of the Vietnam one, you might might as well travel here to Thailand instead

You'd probably be best asking this in a Vietnam Visa group
