3. Teaching English: For those teaching English, what are the best practices for securing a work visa, and what qualifications are needed for part-time roles?

4. Teaching Entrepreneurship: Are there any programs or institutions looking for part-time entrepreneurship instructors?

5. Which cities or areas in Thailand don’t have or less stray dogs? (Where it’s safe to travel with a barking dog around other dogs)

I understand you can get 60 days on a tourist visa, so I'm hoping that's enough to apply and get work. I'm expecting that I will need to then go to another country and wait while the visa processes. Hi my girlfriend has just started a new job as a teacher in Bangkok and I am exploring my options about extending my visa beyond September the 26th. I am a UK national arrived across the Laos border in March on Visa on Arrival and now on the amnesty. I haven't used any of my extensions. Unsure if that's still possible? I was just offered a volunteer job to teach conversational English at a government school. 2 days a week. I was asked by the director of my soon to be wife's school, so this is not a flaky thing. 2 other places also want me to do volunteer work for them, one might actually end up as a job, in our early negotiations. So, I will have 2 choices, long stay with marriage to thai or teaching\work permit for volunteer work. I am asking the group which might be the best. I have the 400K for bank transfer, but would rather not as it triggers a taxable event, but if marriage visa is easier, it can be done. I guess I am just looking for advice as to what this group thinks my best option might be. Not fake marriage, either. I won't do anything that even slightly smells of illegal. This will be a duly noted marriage in Thailand. TIA everyone. jb

If I am traveling from NZ with my husband and three kids. I was wondering if my husband and i am teaching English online do i need a work (?) visa or can I still just travel on 6month tourist visa since the work is all online and not in the country?

Im very very very new to this and this is our first visa we are looking into :)
