Participants share their experiences, mentioning a range of positions, including online teaching, translation, IT-related roles, and contract work for law firms. I did this when young I know you are excited but you are not thinking this through. Its a big mistake especially nowadays. You cant just make a life in asia, they dont really allow foreigners to integrate like that. Work a good job in america for 20 years saving all your money, retire at 40 then worry about traveling.

I was doing some online teaching but it was a big headache for little pay.

Not really much available for decent money.

I was a teacher in America for 20 years and taught in Thailand for 3.

I recommend 3 avenues.

1. If you have a 4 year degree in anything, teach English. Nice students. Simple nice life making about $1250 a month.

2. Get an Education Visa, or Soft Power DTV, or if over 50 retirement. Save a little and live a simple life at $12,000 to $15,000 a year.

3. Save up in America or go back and forth and live like a king.

What job, and how would they know? Most guys i know here that have legit jobs (not teaching english or something) in the US just don't tell their companies. Turn your VPN on and leave everything else the same.
