Good afternoon from Melbourne

I am trying to apply for a

non-immigrant- single entry 90 day visa

( so when I get to Thailand I can get a longer Visa )

Photo 1 - presuming these parts I have ticked are correct

Photo 2 - document indicating current location ? - I’m staying in a hotel ?? - is a receipt of that usable ?

And

Why are they asking for financial evidence

for a single entry ?

Sorry to ask

Any help appreciated

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks guidance on applying for a non-immigrant single entry 90-day visa to Thailand, asking about the correctness of their application details, acceptable proof of current location (such as a hotel receipt), and the necessity of financial evidence. Community comments clarify that financial evidence is now required even for single-entry visas and suggest acceptable documents for proving current location, such as passport ID page or utility bills. Another commenter inquires about proving accommodation when staying with a Thai partner.

I'm in a similar position, but I will be visiting with and staying with my Thai partner on her parents farm.

How do I prove where I'm staying?

Is a letter from my partner proof enough?

You have to prove your current location when you apply for your visa online. In the visa portal you will be asked where you plan to stay in Thailand and hotel booking or a privat adresse with a contact number is normally sufficient. You could upload or prepare a invitation letter from your partner as well.

You always have to prove income or funds for a Non O visa based on retirement.

For document indicating current location you can just upload your ID-page of your passport one more time, your driving license, utility bill or bank statement with name and address.

You don’t have to upload any ticket for a Non O and it’s excused for onward ticket requirements.

Ok, I understand, there’s a financial requirement for to apply for a 90 days Non O visa and do yearly extension of stay in Thailand.

If you don’t have any income or pension you’ll need to prove funds equal to 800K baht at home to apply and 800K baht in a Thai bank for the future.

If you want to do a longer stay with less financial requirements you could apply for a six months multiple entries tourist visa. This gives you up to nine months in Thailand in the first place.
