What Is the Best Visa Option for Staying in Thailand for 98 Days as a Tourist?

Hello dear ones, I am from Germany and would like to stay in Thailand for 98 days as a tourist. Now I am not sure which visa is the right one for me...

What would you recommend?

the 6 month METV is 200USD (approx) versus an 40USD single entry tourist visa

AND the financial requirements are 7K USD in the bank versus what ever the are for a tourist visa..

 said, once you get the 60 days from the tourist visa entry, the 30 day extension, go to the border stamp out of thailand, stamp in and out of another country and then stamp back into thailand to get a 30 day visa exempt entry :)

BUY a single entry tourist visa from a thai consulate in Germany BEFORE you wing your way here.

That visa is valid for 3 months from the date you get it <- meaning you have 3 months to ENTER thailand. When you do stamp in you will get stamped in for 60 days and you can extend that for 30 more days at the immigration office where you stay for 1900baht
