To all, I now have a Thai Bank Account with B800K+ in it. All I need is the two months, which will be 15 days short on my current Non-O Visa.

I live north of Chiang Mai so driving to Chiang Rai and the Myanmar border is an easy day trip.

Does that change any of your thoughts?

Much appreciated in advance.

and all others. Thanks for the replies 👍

I went to the immigration office and requested a “Letter of Residence “ they will mail it to my Thai Address in 15 days. See the picture for what is required. They were very helpful (unless you are an Arrogant Chinese who argues with everyone) They waited while I ran and got a passport photo that is required from the Photo Copy Shop that is at the immigration office.

Thanks again

thank you very much for the information. It is very helpful for planning my trip and having all of my paperwork ready to submit electronically.

So you stayed in Da Nang not HCMC?

yep, I understand it is counting work days.👍

Did you arrive in HCMC and then contact the Embassy for an appointment or did you request the appointment before departure?
