Does anyone know if it’s possible to request my tourist visa to be the full 60 days?
After 3 weeks I finally was approved…only to find out it is a 34 day visa?!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original post discusses confusion over a tourist visa being issued for 34 days instead of the expected 60 days. Comments clarify that single-entry tourist visas allow stay for 60 days if entered on or before the expiration of the 90-day validity from the date of issue. Participants suggest a misunderstanding of visa terms rather than the possibility of requesting longer periods.

No such thing as a 34 day visa. Think you are a bit confused. Maybe post a pic then people can explain better.

Your 60 day tourist is valid for 3 months from date of issue and it starts on the day you enter thailand is day 1 and you will be stamped in for 60 day how do you only have 34 day visa 🤔

Looks like you miss out on 26 days, but just double your drinking for the 34!

The 60 days begins when you enter Thailand. The day you enter is counted as your first day, even if it's 1 minute to midnight.

Check again, that's not possible.

Single entry tourist visas are valid for 90 days from the date they're issued. If you enter on the first day or the last day it's valid for, you'll be stamped in for 60 days.
