I asked a question on here before, but since then my plans have changed. I have decided to be in Thailand for a total of 90 days what are my options for visas? I will be in Bangkok for 30 days, going to school in Phuket for 30 days, then staying in Phuket for 30 more days after the classes end. Should I get my visa after I arrive or before?

TLDR : Answer Summary
For a 90-day stay in Thailand, you can apply for a Single Entry Tourist Visa before traveling, which allows for a 60-day stay with the possibility of a 30-day extension at a Thai Immigration office for around 1,900 Thai baht. It is important to not mention attending school while on this visa, as it strictly prohibits work and is intended for tourism purposes.

Remember you cannot work on a Tourist Visa..and work is not allowed on an Educational Visa.

Enjoy your 90.days stay in Thailand on a Tourist Visa. Good Luck

Get your Single Entry Tourist Visa BEFORE you travel to Thailand.

Its good for 60 days plus added 30.days extension a obtained at Thai Immigration office for 1,900 Thai baht.

I suggest you NOT mention going to school ...you can do that while on a Tourist Visa.

You cannot work on a Tourist Visa.
