Hi all. What are the rules about your banked money (400k) when you apply for extension based on married to a thai person? Does the money have to stay in the account all year from my last extension?

Retairement Visa: do you have to keep all the time the 800.000 bath , then 400.000 or can you withdrawl everything and deposit 800.000 the 3 month before the renewal?

What's all this dribble on Bangkok Bank and visas? Is this going to affect renewing my Marriage Visa with the 400k in the bank for 3 months? But BKK Bank is only providing the certificate/statement if it's been there for 4? Is this Thailand wide? It's great that there's a crackdown on people abusing the system with dodgy agents, but is this going to affect people doing it correctly with the immigration 3 month rule?

Following being issued my 1 year marriage visa yesterday, I assume the 400k is now able to be used?

Advice for keeping enough in the bank in my case 400,000 baht . On a marrage ext does it have to be my name only and can it be in an interest account ?

Regarding marriage visa is it true that the 400k needs to sit untouched in the bank for 2-3 months after the visa has been issued? thanks in advance.

Hi, I’m married to a Thai citizen. In the past, I’ve entered Thailand on a 3 month non-immigrant O visa, and then gone to Thai Immigration in Rayong to extend the visa to 12 months. This extension required proof of funds of 400,000 baht in a Thai bank account for at least 3 months prior to the application (or monthly income of at least 40,000 baht). I just want to check that this figure has not changed in the past 2 years.
