Who thinks I will have a problem with the following scenario:
- I am currently on a non-o spouse extension that has its last day this Saturday 29 March
- I also have a multiple re-entry permit in my passport valid until Saturday 29 March
- I fly out of the country this Friday 28 March
I will apply for DTV in Cambodia and I would like to apply immediately on Friday after arriving in Cambodia. The reason to apply immediately is that I will get signed statements from the Kbank on Friday just before flying out of Bangkok. Those statements will proof I have the funds for DTV but they will have the date of Friday on it so I assume I should apply for DTV on Friday so the date of the statement matches with the application date.
Problem I see here is that due to the multi entry permit, my non-o visa will still be valid for 1 day on the day of DTV application. Will that be a problem?
Anyone has ever tried canceling a multi entry permit? I will ask in the airport regardless but I think I can imagine the face of the immigration officer when he sees its only valid for 1 more day haha.
Many thanks to anyone that can provide helpful information.
I would like to ask about the re-entry permit application. Would it be possible to apply for 2 single re-entry permits at the same time? Or does immigration issue only one single re-entry permit per time?
I am currently on a one-year Single Entry Visa based on marriage. I'm wondering if it's possible for me to apply for a Multiple re-entry Permit at the Immigration Office in Chamchuri Square Building.
Hi all. I’ll be going to Bangkok immigration -Lak Si to extend my Non-O and get the multiple re-entry permit. Logistics question for you - should I get my “tickets” (the number to see the agents) first and then go to the bank for the letter and passbook update etc - or should I do that first and then get the tickets to wait in line? If I miss my number being called, can I go to the agent or do I need to get another number and start again? This is my first time doing it so was wondering what your experiences were. Thanks.
A retired UK national in Thailand about to do the "Extension of Stay" at Hua Hin Immigration Office having arrived on 90 Day Non-Imm O visa. Was told that I need to have the following but then someone else told me that this is not the correct list -

Multiple Re-entry Permit - can I get this at any airport e.g. Hua Hin?
I have a UK passport, a non-B visa and a multiple reentry permit.
I left the country recently through BKK airport and noticed I was able to pass through immigration using the new e-gates. I wouldn’t get an exit stamp using these gates. I asked a staff member if that was ok to not get a stamp, as I have a visa and re-entry. She didn’t know so I queued up in the normal queue instead and got stamped out.
Hello, I am on a 1st year spouse visa. would a multiple re-entry stamp cancel when I extend for 2nd year or continue use through 1 full yr from receiving it?
