I've just submitted my DTV application in Vientiane. I understand there is no online payment option. Can I just go to the Embassy without an appointment. I have attempted to figure this out online. Any input would be helpful. Many thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about going to the Thai Embassy in Vientiane to make a payment for their DTV application after submission, questioning the need for an appointment. Comments mention the importance of having a QR code generated after application submission, which must be presented for entry and payment at the Embassy. A note on a Thai national holiday suggests the Embassy may be closed.
Once you submit the application a QR code is generated, it's a little tricky to find in the portal, you download and print that QR code and take it to the Embassy the next morning 9:00 a.m. and pay, you will not get in without the QR code. Tomorrow is a Thai national holiday so likely it's closed.
