Hello, I’m looking to apply for the DTV visa online. Is proof of one month Muy Thai classes enough to apply or does it need to be more time? I saw a few ppl mention Tiger Eye, any other suggestions would be appreciated . Thanks!
My employer based in Germany wants to know if there are any requirements for him if I work for him permanently in Thailand with the DTV.
He is aware that tax and social security matters need to be clarified. But are there any other requirements that need to be taken into account?
He is worried that he will have to deal with the Thai authorities.
Hi lam coming tomorrow Thailand on the 25th of November with a 60 day visa free entry, but would like to extend it to 90 days.
Is it possible to ask on arrival for the extra 30 days or should l wait and extend my stay by going to an immigration office in Bangkok ?
Also as l have a Thai friend who will be picking me up l do not have a hotel reservation or proof of Accommodation, but will be staying at a resort but will book when l arrive, would this be a problem on arrival without proof of accommodation.
Thanks for any help.
Paul.
Hi all thanks for accepting me as a member of your group.I'm coming out too thailand on the 2nd Dec until 28th February, the problems is ive already had 2 stays in thailand from 10th July until 6th Aug and from 27th September until 17th October this year. After reading about visas it's confusing me which if any visa I will require, ive emailed the thai embassy regarding this and upto now not had no reply back off them after sending it last week.I want to make sure everything is legal and done properly,it is also saying on the visas application they want proof of my accommodation which upto now i can only prove 28 days which I've booked into a hotel. This being i wanted to travel around thailand and neighbouring countries for all the remaining days, any advise or recommendations would be helpful thankyou in advance
Hi all, I would like to stay in Thailand for seven months. Normally I would just do 2 visa runs (🇧🇷 gets 90 days) but last year when arriving at BKK they told me next time I must get a proper visa rather than just use exemptions.
So I will get a Non-Imm-O/retirement. I’m 50+ and have 800 kilobaht in a Thai bank already. I have 2 questions:
1) My understanding is that I can’t just leave during my extension period, but must go to Immigration to have it canceled. What is the procedure and requirements for that?
2) Since I'm leaving early, do I need to show Immigration that I have correctly kept the 800k (3 months) / 400k (afterwards) in my account for the required post-extension period?
I do plan to come back to Thailand long term in the future so I don’t want any black marks. Thanks for any input!
Hello People,
I started some weeks ago to fill out my DTV Visa for Thailand. Today i finally submitted all the neccessary Documents (Passport, Work Contract, Bank Statement with over 500k THB (in EUR), Proof of Residence (registration certificate from city council). Then i paid for it and 5 hours later i just got this email. Around 5 hours after i paid it. Well usually the Thai Embassy takes several weeks for my Visa (did multiple Tourist VISA in the past) but now i just got this after just some hours. (and today is Halloween). Outside of the opening(working times) and super quick. Do you guys have any idea what to do or what could be the reason?
PS: the annoying part is that i don’t even know a reason (if I maybe did a mistake) and that the 350€ fee is just gone.
Thank You in advance!
I understand that if you apply for the DTV e-Visa online, the consulate in charge can request further documents. In my case, the consulate does not answer questions prior to applying.
Has anyone experienced that they declined your online application and kept the visa fee without a chance to change the category e.g. from medical to soft power or remote work?
Hi. Regarding the DTV, is the 10k price only for the named visa holder? Or does the dependent also have to pay 10k?
And also, do the visa holders have to check in with Immigration periodically, or is it just every 180 days they have to leave the country?
Thanks in advance for any info.
Hello all,
I have a question about address information on Thai E-visa website show in the picture.
I plan to apply for the visa in Vietnam, but I am from USA. Do I put in the address of the hotel I stay in vietnam or my actual adress in USA?
Thanks
Has anyone applied for a DTV as a real estate portfolio manager?
