Hi Everyone, I might have read somewhere that the 500k baht needs to be in your account for at least a month when applying for the VISA. We're based in London if that matters.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The general consensus from the comments is that there is no specific requirement for the 500,000 baht to be maintained in your account for a full month when applying for a visa from London. Instead, embassies are primarily interested in your current bank balance. Some users have noted that London only requires a closing balance without seasoning, meaning the funds can be transferred right before applying.

Different for each embassy, and in Sydney, it seems it's different for each person 🤷🏻

London is only a closing balance. My balance was fully transferred on the day of making the statement.

Usually they just want to see that you’ve got that in your bank now , I had sponsorship letters and was ok

@Finn ******
and you applied thru the thai consulate in London?

no no, I’ve applied in Malaysia , but I did my tourist visa through London and was pretty fast

I’ll tell you - be prepared for them requesting documents

They’ve asked me for:

•bank statements

•Muay Thai gym pic

•sponsorship letter

They are so tedious haha

London does not have any seasoning requirement for the 500K.
