Does someone have experience applying to a muy Thai school for the dtv but living elsewhere? If you would fly out every 6 months this would not be a problem right? would it be a problem if you do an extension?

Advice for Dummies (That would be me)

Don't get your DTV and then renew your passport, or you are back to square one.

Hey group!

I'm currently in Thailand on a (90 day) Non-O visa based on marriage. I'm weighing my options as I won't be able to apply for the 1-year extension this year (frustrating).

So I am thinking of either applying for another 90day Non-O (marriage) Visa after this one or going the DTV route.

My question is, will having a Thai spouse and child, exclude me from the DTV? I would otherwise fit all the other necessary requirements (financials and work, etc).

I printed out and laminated an A6 size copy of the visa. Now it's much more portable and durable.

I’m currently in HCMC and making my final preparations. Could you help me check if everything looks good?

1. I’ve had an average balance of around 400,000 THB over the past 6 months, and 900,000 THB in my account 3 days before applying.

2. I have several required documents from an officially recognized Muay Thai organization.

3. I have an entry stamp from Cambodia to Vietnam and an e-visa.

4. I have a PDF confirmation of my Airbnb booking in Ho Chi Minh City for 3 weeks.

Would these four things be enough? Please let me know—I’d really appreciate your help! Wishing you all good luck!
