What's the latest updates on the land borders with Cambodia?

Are there 3rd Country Passport crossing/using those Borders and are they able to get the full 60–Day Visa Exempt Stamp?

It seems that there are limits to specifically: Cambodia Passports making an overland crossing into Thailand only at the land borders which will get limited to 7 Days Stay (Visa Exempt Stamp), but if Cambodia Passports make Entry into Thailand via air at an Airport, then they still get the full 60 Days (Visa Exempt Stamp) and the same seems to apply for Thai Passports into Cambodia

Again, the question is about other foreign passports, but, personally, i would just use the land borders with Laos at this time

Also, it is important to note the change in operating hours (when land borders open and close) for the land borders with Cambodia at this time

To anyone who has applied for DTV in the USA, Washington, DC office:

What was your experience on the timeline to hear anything? I am still showing "pending document check". I submitted mine May27. Today is 10 business days. I know that at least one of those days was a Thai holiday.

JAKARTA DTV Success Softpower Muay Thai.

This is for myself and my son.

Main applicant:

May 18th - arrived in Jakarta, submitted mine

about 9pm. Status maintained at

pending document check the whole

time.

May 27th - status changed to pending approval

around 5pm, then APPROVED and

visa received an hour later!

My dependent:

May 27th - applied as soon as I got mine

approved. Submitted 8pm. Again,

stayed at pending document check

all through.

June 9th - status changed to pending approval

around 5pm, and APPROVED by 8pm!

Just in time for our flights the next day 😍

There were 2 holidays during my dependent’s submission. All in all, they are consistent in their timeframe of 7 working days for both our applications.

Documents provided:

Proof of location

-Boarding pass

-Flight booking

-Hotel booking for initial 5 days

-Stay permit from the autogates

-a selfie of myself in front of our hotel

Financial proof

- a cover letter explaining very briefly what I provided

- latest conversion rates from google, bangkok bank and wise

- highlighted screenshot of current balance and amount of 500k for the past 2 months. I provided 3 months of full bank statements

Muay Thai documents

- a cover letter stating my intention to apply via the softpower route

- a complete visa documentation package from Muay Thai Fever. It is a 6-month course.

For my son (dependent), I used the exact same financial documents with a sponsorship letter from me, his proof of location and his birth certificate translated to English.

I did call up the embassy a couple of times to check on our applications as the status remained unchanged. They were very friendly and assured me I will get updates soonest they can. They process everything by the date of submission.

HUGE thanks to everyone in this group especially Andi Traveller 🙏🏼

The waiting is hard, so we’re all very fortunate to have this group to keep us in the loop and entertained too! Good luck everyone!!

Hi, I’m doing a land run to Laos. Someone told me on the trip that you need to submit an extra visa application online that takes three days to process while here, even though you didn’t need to do this last time. Is this true? Or can I simply cross back into Thailand without submitting the online form?

My wife and I are planning a long cycle tour which is longer than 90 days. Based in Buriram.

As we will stop over in several villages/towns, and at least 3 provinces, how would I go about submitting 90 day reporting?

I think i am correct I have to report in person fof my first 90 day reporting so would do this in Buriram.

But after that?

Hello.

I'm returning to Thailand at the end of this month or early July and staying for between 6 and 8 weeks.

The cost of flights direct with a Flexi ticket has increased to the point where I would like to get a single too Bangkok from Heathrow then when I know my return date I'll book another single back to the UK. which works out much cheaper than a return FLEXI ticket.

My question is does anyone know what is the cheapest way I can leave Thailand with a bus ticket or flight from Bangkok without actually having to use it to show the authorities that my intention is not to stay in Thailand for a long time. I understand the moral implications however I am quite genuine and just want to save some money and satisfying Buddha control that I've intend returning

Thank you

Avoid crossing the Thailand–Cambodia border. It is best not to get your DTV visa in Cambodia. The situation in both countries is extremely tense.

Does anyone have an explanation for a residence certificate that I've been told is required to open a bank account. This isn't a TM30 I've been told....🙏🏼

Hello,

I'm considering applying for the 90-day Non-O (Retirement) visa in Chaing Mai. What are the requirements specific to the Chiang Mai immigration office regarding proof of address? I read conflicting information online. I have my TM-30... will this suffice? Or do I need a copy of an agreement with my landlord?
