Do I need to submit an extra visa application online for reentering Thailand after a land run to Laos?

Hi, I’m doing a land run to Laos. Someone told me on the trip that you need to submit an extra visa application online that takes three days to process while here, even though you didn’t need to do this last time. Is this true? Or can I simply cross back into Thailand without submitting the online form?

Its nothing to with a visa, it simply an online version of the old paper TM6 arrival card. Takes a few minutes online.

Ps, the 3 days you mention is not a processing time, but it can only be submitted upto 3 days before arrival

Nope! You've been given BAD information. All you have to do is submit an electronic entry card before crossing back into Thailand

No reentry everybody has to do one now before entering Thailand

EVERY entry into Thailand requires you to file a TDAC. It does not take 3 days to process. You can only file it within 3 days of your entry to Thailand. It takes moments to process and will be sent to your e-mail address.
