Hello, a big thanks to all the members of that group for the help provided !

So in my case, i am a freelance remote worker and as a freelancer, i don't have any contract from my employers to show (and i'm just working for one or two clients max for now) and i don't necessarily work for them every month (last year i worked for them 7 months in a roll then 5 months pause).

This year, well, i don't know, i will see how it goes, there is no certainty, it can stop from a day to another or i can also be working all year...

And i don't send an invoice each month, rather a note of copyrights (as a writer/adaptador) to the client who pays me 45 days after but each note is dated monthly, like a bill or a paycheck....

I have the amount (500K) they ask for on a bank account.

All that being said and thank you to those who read me until the end, do you think i can be eligible for the DTV, and if yes, how should i do it ?

Thank you !!!

After approval of the DTV, over the 5 year duration of the visa, am I required to provide proof of employment/financial statements to show proof of income? Or is that a one-time deal?

I'm a US citizen. Applied through Washington office under freelance category.

I'm in HCM right now and applying for Muay Thai visa.

The Visa center is asking me for (1) DBD and (2) information about the training course.

What is a DBD? can anyone assist me on this?

Hello. Do we have to justify every 6 months a digital activity, Thai lessons, cooking lessons, to be in order with immigration and not risk expulsion and being blacklisted? Thank you

Hello All.

I have been told that being able to book / walk into the embassy to apply for an in person appointment for the DTV is now no longer an option in most countries moving to a E-Visa system, which can have a 4 to 6 week turnaround, rather than the previous few day turn around.

Apparently, the Philippines and Taiwan are the only two countries that still have not made this change to the E-Visa system.

Has anyone had any experience applying for their DTV in the Philippines?

Also, does anyone know when the cutoff date will be for the Philippines to change to the e-visa system?

Hi, I have an online vintage clothing shop on Depop which was pretty successful but it doesn’t make me that much money anymore. I have the 500,000 baht but I am wondering if there is a certain amount you need to be earning to get the Dtv?

Would I be able to apply using the shop as my portfolio?

Or is it better for me to apply though the Muay Thai/ cooking class route?

I’m worried about getting denied 🙃

I'm leaving to apply with a valid Non B and valid work permit with a re-entry permit as if my application is denied I still have these credentials to fall back on. Does anybody know how this will work coming back with 2 visas please? Or should I cancel the visa and work permit before I come back to Thailand if the visa application is approved?

Hi everyone! This is my second time asking something here, and I’d love to hear your thoughts or experiences about taking the risk of re-entering Thailand to get another two months (Colombian passport holder / visa exemption).

I’ve been here for almost 4 months now. Last month, I left the country for Vietnam and returned without any issues—my passport was stamped at Chiang Mai airport, where I’ve been living and working remotely. My current stamp expires on January 23, but this time I don’t plan to extend it.

Instead, I want to visit Bali for a week, leaving on January 18 and returning to Thailand after that. Do you think I could be denied entry? This would be my third entry into Thailand, but only the second time leaving for a nearby country and coming back.

I’m worried because I have my things here in my apartment, and if I’m denied entry, I wouldn’t be able to retrieve them. My rental contract ends on February 9. Would it be a good idea to carry my contract or any other documents to show if needed?

I have no bad history, and honestly, this would be my last entry into Thailand before heading back to my home country.

Thanks for reading, and Merry Christmas!, special greetings to Brandon and Jan you guys are amazing.
