What should I do next at this stage? Should I wait for an appointment email to make the payment in person at the embassy? I haven’t received any email yet.

Yangon does not accept payment through the e-visa system. Same as both consulates in Laos. Payment must be made in person at the embassy but at Yangon you're required to have an appointment to pay.

First, I need to download the payment information, which includes details of my DTV application and a QR code. After that, I need to visit the website link you mentioned earlier to book an appointment for payment . On the appointment day, I can make the payment in person by presenting both the appointment confirmation and the payment information with the QR code. Thank you for your guidance.

It's best to understand the process BEFORE you submit an application.

They will not be e-mailing you to make an appointment. You have to do that yourself.

I would like to ask some very important questions regarding the bank statements showing over 500,000 baht. Could you please advise me?

1. Which type of bank statement is better to use as evidence:

– an official statement with a stamp from my Thai bank, or

– a statement downloaded from the bank’s mobile application?

2. The embassy here requested only 3 months of bank statements, but I submitted 6 months. Is that acceptable?

3. I requested my bank statements on
****
/2025, applied yesterday, and my payment appointment is on the upcoming Monday. That means the statement will be 6 days old by the appointment date. Could it be considered expired or invalid?

Anonymous participant every embassy is different and we don't have many reports from Yangon. So these are general answers and might not be correct for Yangon.

1) either should be fine. In Laos after you go in to pay they then schedule an interview. I don't know if Yangon will be the same but part of the interview is them asking you to open your banking app to show the balance at that moment.

2) more than they ask for shouldn't be a problem

3) 6 days isn't very long. They might not even look at your application for a while after you pay but they can see when you submitted your application.
