Hi, i am in Thailand at the moment but i am heading back to the uk for a couple of weeks at the end of the month. I own a condo here and have opened a Bangkok bank account already. When I go back I will send my 800000 baht to my account. My question is can I return on a visa exemption and then convert to a retirement visa inside Thailand. I am based in Hua Hin.
Hey all, I came to Thailand at the end of December with a UK passport, I got a 60 day visa exemption when I arrived but it's almost up, need to go to the immigration office to get an extra 30 days, what do I need to take to show them?
I just came across an app called "Moreta". They claim you can pay using the Thai QR system by just linking a US bank account or a Wise account, they convert USD to THB and charge 3% per transaction with the free plan or 1.5% with the paid plan ($10/month).
Has anyone tried it? Seems useful for emergencies, the other day I couldn't get my scooter out of the parking lot because they only accepted QR payment 😅 Thankfully a delivery guy helped me
Any complications if you have applied for a DTV nomad visa and you come to Thailand in the meantime on holiday while waiting for approval? When you get approved while inside of Thailand, how it works? Thanks peeps in advance, much appreciated.
Also what if I am not in my country of residence and on business trip in another country ? When I get the DTV , can I just fly direct to Thailand or should I go back to my country first?
any people that have applied through Sydney how many months statement did you provide please? anyone just provide the balance get asked for further statements? ( just sydney dtv applications answer please, as i’m aware the answers can be so vastly different from other embassies)
