Anybody knows, does Phuket Immigration cancel a DTV and afterwards issue a Non Immigrant O visa (retirement)?

Im currently speaking to Arun Thai Cooking about using their course to apply for DTV soft power. It looks like a reputable school and I’ve found lots of posts in this group from people who have applied with them. In talking to their visa service, they recommend applying in the Philippines but I can’t find any posts from people who have applied from there, including people applying with Arun. Anyone have experience with the embassy there? Or any idea why they’re pushing Philippines?

About the current adress: For the Hotel Adress: would it be ok if I only stay there 1 Night (the Night when I apply) and then move on to another place an Hour away for 10 nights)?

Re-Entering Thailand

Hello. On December 15. I have been in Thailand for 90 days. 2 months on arrival card and one month extension. That’s why I am taking a vacation to the Philippines dec 14. But with the new boarder run rules I am afraid to get rejected when I try to re enter the country. As I have understood it. I can only be in the country of 90 days a year without long term visa such as DTV. Have anyone recently tried to re enter Thailand after a 90 day period with just arrival visa?

If I try to come back to Thailand dec 26, will that be a risk? Should I wait to January, so that hopefully i can get 90 more days since it’s a new year?

Has anyone been denied entry into Thailand with a DTV visa?

Does anyone have a similar situation like this? I have two citizenships - Vietnamese and Serbian. My remote work contract and my bank account are all serbian and have info from my serbian passport. I want to apply for DTV from Hanoi where I live rn. Should I apply using my serbian passport or vietnamese passport?

Well, consistent with nothing every working correctly in this country, I've now been stranded twice in 1 week at Rimping while my app fails. Friday, Rimping (in maya) was unable to accept payment from mobile apps from Krungsri, K bank, and bkk bank for many hours. Today, my app continued to freeze and throw error messages while trying to pay. The cashier said it wasn't only me today having problems.

After 5 minutes I had to abondon my groceries and walk to my bike where my wallet was. I've come to trust the banking system here as reliable and efficient so I don't normally carry my wallet on me, unless I'm out at the bars since most of the apps consistently go down for maintenance at 11:50pm every Saturday for some reason.

Thus I've come to the point where I can no longer rely on the Thai banks to provide consistent service, back to cash I go.

Hi, I wanted to ask when I should apply for the DTV. Should it be 30 days before my intended entry?or is there a specific validity period for using the visa after it’s issued?
