Hello, I have a DTV visa that I need to get stamped outside of Thailand.

So I'm going to Ranong in 3 days to do this, but I'm hearing two conflicting options.

One comes from a local who offers his services for 2,600 baht with the speedboat that departs from Ranong Pier, including the Myanmar visa fee.

The other version says there's no visa on arrival, and that I have to apply for an e-visa online, which takes a maximum of 3 days to receive by email.

Which version is correct, please?

Thank you for your answers.

I recently registered as a sole trader in the UK for my remote startup, which I plan to operate from Thailand if granted a visa.

It seems the embassy is asking for Ltd documents, but I’m not a Ltd and cannot provide what they are asking for.

I've built a website, although, to date, there are no invoices, no business name registered with HMRC (as it’s not possible online), and no way to provide the Thai Embassay with what they are asking for below.

Does anyone know how I can accurately respond to this requests?

Hi all, I already have a DTV visa and I am about to leave Thailand for a trip. My departure from Thailand is going to be 2 days after my 90 day reporting is due. Is it really necessary for me to do the 90 day reporting if I will leave the country 2 days after? Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Hello,

Looking for a help regarding the payment. Just submitted my online application to the Royal Thai Embassy in Indonesia and when i paid with my Credit card it says that is “ Pending payment” . Where my friend used his debit card and his payment went through immediately and it says It is processing’

Now i can’t do anything- can’t cancel the transaction and use a debit card. Can’t use another card in general because it doesn’t allow me To do anything . Did something like that happen to you before? What should i do in this case. I guess it is a technical problem. Should i email the embassy?

Thanks for any help 🙏🏻

Hi everyone! My husband and I are planning to move permanently to Thailand, and we’re looking into the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV). We own a company in the UK and work as employees of our own business, getting paid through a payee. We also have enough savings to make the move, so we want to ensure we meet all the financial requirements.

A few questions we’d love some clarity on:

✅ For the 500,000 THB savings requirement, do the six months of bank statements need to show that amount consistently each month, or is it just the total that needs to be available at the time of application?

✅ What specific documents are required for this visa application?

✅ Are there any other financial or general requirements we should be aware of?

✅ Where and how should we submit the application – is it best to do it online, through the Thai Embassy, or another way?

✅ What’s the fastest and easiest way to apply and get approval?

✅ Once the visa is granted, is there a time limit to enter Thailand before it expires?

We’d really appreciate any advice or experiences you can share!

I have my flight booked and am planning on visiting end of October, would it be too far in advance to apply NOW, 6 months ahead of time? Will be applying via Soft power/Muay Thai at the NY Embassy. (Only have done some cursory skimming but looks like most people get their applications in only a few *weeks* in advance of departure?) I'd just like the peace of mind having it locked in before any potential negative changes to the program...
