Is there any chance you could get approval of DTV-Dependant Visa on a Saturday or Sunday? My status at the moment is "pending arroval" after they asked for additional documents yesterday. I applied through Thai Embassy, Jakarta.

Hey all, does anyone know how many days prior to expiry we can apply for a visa extension at Immigration? (I've read 45 or 30 days, I'm not sure what to go with)

Please make sure to fill out the TDAC form before entering Thailand.

Today (May 2) at Suvarnabhumi, they only asked me to show the passport and TDAC—nothing else was questioned. All they said was "Oh you hold DTV. Enjoy and don't forget to fill TDAC next time too."

If you haven’t filled it out online before reaching immigration, they’ll ask you to do it first. Quite a lot of people hadn’t completed the TDAC form. It seems like the line at the TDAC filling area is even longer than at immigration.

So as of February its basically impossible to get a bank account on DTV? I've spoken to a few agents now.

Is there a time frame that you have to arrive in Thailand after having DTV granted?

And how close to the 6 months in and out do you have to be? As in can you leave for a while at 4 months and then re-enter.? I was hoping to avoid the burning season

*Passport place of issue- I messed up on this and put NJ. But they still approved.

To those who got their passport abroad, what did you type in "place of issue"? My passport doesn't have this field so I'm struggling because of the posts of several people who got their application cancelled because they filled in the country where the passport was issued. My passport has the voice "Authority". Should I type in what it's written there? I mailed the embassy which replied me "Fill in the form in full accordance with the information in your passport". Please only replies from those who have already applied in a situation similar to mine. Thanks

Does anyone know how to resize their photos to match the DTV requirements? I'm beating my head against a wall and maybe for no reason lol. I had a passport photo taken and I'm trying to size it in a word document to what I THINK they want. Anyone know the required size and the best way to size a scanned pic? Thank you!!
