Hello all.

My wife and I (married 11 years with valid marriage certificate) will be applying for DTV hopefully in the next few months. She will apply first under work-cation category.

We were advised that we should get a letter confirming we are still married from the registrar and have it notarized.

Wondering if any other couples needed this. Should our certificate (which is in English) not be enough?

Thanks!

Hi everyone, In October I’ll apply for the DTV Muay Thai visa in Jakarta. Does anyone know if a 3-month bank statement is enough, or do they want to see all the transactions?

This morning I went to apply for a re entry permit to travel in October, however I was refused because I didn't have a TM 30, ( Phuket immigration) I don't recall having needed one before when applying for a re entry permit, interesting because apparently you can apply for a re entry permit at the Airport with only your passport, passport photo and copy of passport pages, anyone had experience with this situation and can update me on this predicament please. 🙏😊

Hello. I have a question about applying for a Thailand non-o visa in Vietnam. I have a limited time in Vietnam on their visa. If my non-o e-visa for thailand takes too long, can I enter thailand and then do a border run to Vietnam when the e-visa comes through and come back on the non-o? Anyone have experience with that?

Anyone do a transfer lately through WISE to Bangkok Bank. I looked at my bankbook at it was coded as a Cash Deposit. I pulled up the transaction on WISE and it clearly states Funds for Thailand. Is Bangkok Bank not coding FTT for foreign transactions anymore?

Hi - we are leaving Phuket on Friday September 5. We arrived June 8 - this means exactly 90 days in Thailand. I did the 90 day report online but it was not approved. The rule is that we should report if staying longer than 90 days but I’m just concerned that immigration we look at this as an opportunity to fine me. Don’t really want to drive to immigration in Phuket Town so just wondering if anyone has encountered this “ scenario” Thanks in advance 🙏

I have been on a Non-O retirement visa for over 4 years and have maintained an excess of 800,000 baht all along but would now like to switch to depositing at least 65,000 baht monthly. The interest rate earned in Thailand is so low compared to my accounts in the States. My next renewal is February 2026 but my 65,000 baht deposit will commence this January 2026---or a month earlier if that's a safer option. My question is: AFTER my renewal is completed in February 2026, can I transfer the 800,000 back to my stateside account or is it necessary to keep the 800,000 baht minimum in my Thai bank until I've completed my 2027 renewal? Thanks for any advice.
