My wife and I (married 11 years with valid marriage certificate) will be applying for DTV hopefully in the next few months. She will apply first under work-cation category.
We were advised that we should get a letter confirming we are still married from the registrar and have it notarized.
Wondering if any other couples needed this. Should our certificate (which is in English) not be enough?
Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquiring about the necessity of a notarized letter confirming their marriage for a DTV visa application in Thailand received feedback. Other couples have reported that their English marriage certificates were accepted without the need for additional notarization, but it is suggested to check with the specific embassy for varying requirements.
We went through the Vancouver consulate and they accepted our marriage certificate. You can try to check with the embassy you'll be using, some have their own requirements.
