Hello, when I apply for the non o visa in home country and let us say I will get it in October but I will arrive in Thailand only in December. Then I do not have the time anymore to deposit the 800k in a Thai bank account to sit there for 2 months before I can apply for the extension of 1 year. How does that work?

I applied for the visa on October 8 in Hanoi and just received the approval by email.

I own a business and submitted bank statements (balance over 500,000 THB) plus company documents proving I’m the owner and director, along with links to my hotel on Instagram and Booking.com.

Does any one have any experience with applying from Manila Philippines? If I transfer money from a Time Deposit to my savings will that be acceptable?

I am planning on applying at the same embassy in November. I currently live in between countries in Asia so if anyone has a suggestion on a better embassy than HCMC it would be much appreciated.

I currently hold a DTV visa as a dependent of my wife. I’m considering renting a small stall at a night market to sell food and drinks.

I’ve received mixed information: some people say that to rent a market stall I don’t need any special visa or permit, since someone else would actually be operating the stall; while others say I’d need a business visa and a work permit.

Could anyone who has gone through a similar process, or is currently in the same situation, please share their experience or clarify what’s really required?

Also, if a business visa is indeed necessary, how long does it usually take to obtain it?

I am about to apply for the DTV ( softpower ) in Hanoi. I often read that people have to send them ALL passport pages. Should i send them everything already or just when they ask about it? Because in the application form they just ask for the first page with all your data.
