Hi folks, I hope this question hasn't been asked a million times but here it is. My Thai wife and I live in the USA. We hope to live in Thailand part time as my wife has a house and some land. We also plan to buy or build a new house there. The real question is, if my wife applies for US citizenship, can she still keep her Thai citizenship and still qualify for land ownership? I appreciate any thoughts or direction where to get clear answers.

A couple of updates. Tried opening a bank account at Bangkok Bank in Tha Muang on METV yesterday and clerk got a white binder of rules out and denied me. She was polite and just told me what kind of visaโ€™s would be accepted. Swapped my USA sim card with my Thai sim card in phone and was able to do two factor authentication and transferred $Baht to friends account using wise. Limit of 49999 baht on transfer in wise.

Multiple Entry tourist visa - is re entry permit required?

I will arrive in Thailand next week. I have a multiple entry visa. I plan to stay 45 days, leave for a few weeks and then return. Do I need a re entry permit? Or does the Multiple Entry Visa cover that?

Thanks

Hi all. I've been coming back and for to Thailand for quite some time by just using the 30 day entry stamp. For my last trip I used the 60 day tourist visa for the first time, and have a short term condo for two months where the landlord has sent me a TM30. I only arrived around three weeks ago but unfortunately I've had to make a quick trip back to the UK where I'll have to stay for up to just under two weeks. When i come back to Thailand, will the conditions of this 60 day visa still be okay or will my leaving make it null and void? My original immigration stamp doesn't run out until 11th May and the visa is to be used by 20th July if that helps. Thanks in advance for any information ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

Hi allโ€ฆ I usually get the over 50 non oa visa but was considering trying to make life a little simpler if thatโ€™s possible. We are in Thailand for 6 months โ€ฆ can we do tourist visas to cover this period?

Is it 30 days on arrival and then 60 day tourist visa then leave Thailand for a while and then return?

Uk passports

Any tips on good insurance? Normally do non oa type insurance but not sure itโ€™s the best option

Thanks

Hello,

I am currently on a student Thai language visa. I got a new job so I'm planning to go to savannakhet to get a nonB work visa then come back. I know I need to cancel my current visa before I leave and set the dates accordingly, so I will do that before I go to Laos (it is a legit Thai language visa, so I have proof I am a student there).

I've been in Thailand since July, so about 8/9 months. Originally entered with tourist visa issued in my home country (Canada, and then converted to a student Thai language visa with Payap uni in CM)

This is still allowed at Savannakhet right? Even coming from a student visa?

The school is doing the paperwork for the application. Do I need any bank statements or anything out of the ordinary to get this done. Anything else I should bring?

I can cross over to Laos on a Sunday to be at Thai embassy early Monday morning?

Thanks everyone in advance ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Greetings everyone! Iโ€™m applying for a METV in my home country of USA. I understand that I would need to provide evidence of finance. I typically have my funds deposited into mulitiple accounts and withdraw the cash. What would be the best way to show proof of funds? Should I deposit the cash back into my account and ask my bank for a running statement? Or will a deposit statement for the last 6 months suffice? Thanks in advance for your responses! As Iโ€™m trying to mitigate any rejections ๐Ÿ™‚

Does anybody know...

1). What is the Thai calendar year for year 1990?

2). There was a time back in the day when, if you obtained a Thai drivers license it was issued valid for life (no expiry date)... what was theThai calendar year that issued for life was no longer issued and they moved to an expiry date pls?

I would be most grateful for the answer, much appreciated.
