I am have a 1-year ed-visa in Chiang Mai but I am currently residing in Bangkok as I can study remotely online. I have an TM-30 in Bangkok. I entered Bangkok Airport 95 days ago and now realise I need to my 90-day report. As my ed-visa is in Chiang Mai, will I encounter any issues if I go to Bangkok immigration office for my 90-day report?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a 1-year ed-visa issued in Chiang Mai but is currently residing in Bangkok. They are due for their 90-day report since entering Thailand 95 days ago and are concerned about reporting at the Bangkok immigration office instead of Chiang Mai. A comment suggests using the TM-30 filed in Bangkok for the report. They advise that the immigration office in Bangkok may either accept the submission or direct the user to Chiang Mai. The user has a grace period of 7 days post due date to avoid fines for late reporting.

Well seeing as you have a TM30 filed in Bangkok, print that and use that address for the 90 day report form (TM47).
They 'll either accept it OR they'll tell you to go back to where you got the extension to file.
Remember you have until 7 days after the due date to file a 90 day report without getting a 2000baht failure to file on time fine. So if you're 95 days since you entered you got 2 days to file.
