TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers holding a visa-exempt passport visiting Thailand should be prepared to show 20,000 baht or an equivalent amount in another currency, although this is rarely required by immigration officials. Upon arrival, no forms need to be filled out currently except for the TM6 form, which is provided on the plane and requires personal travel information. Ensure that you have your passport and boarding card ready when approaching immigration.

Been going to Thailand for the past 40 years, they never asked for cash of any currency upon arrival at immigration.

The TM6 form is the arrival/departure card, (given to you on the plane) which foreigners are required to fill out with their passport information and other personal and travel information when entering or leaving Thailand.

Passport, customs declaration you get on the plane which you complete and hand over with your passport at immigration you get stamped for 60 days. Never been asked about money in 20 years. Enjoy the land of smiles 😁

sorry it's TM 30 the blue slip you get inboard. It's a customs Dec when you return to your country

The TM30 is the form your hotel or landlord submits to Immigration showing where you are staying.

what's the white slip with blue they give you onboard. That's what you present with your passport. They give you the stub to keep in your passport. This is taken back when you leave. You're being pedantic.

Nothing pedantic about it. You are giving incorrect information. The only thing I give to Immigration with my passport is the boarding pass from the flight that got me to Thailand. It’s not always, or ever, white and blue and it’s not a TM30.

Officially you need
*****
in cash

Rarely asked for .

I always have more than as i believe you should have one week living money in cash at all times (at least)

You just hand over your passport and boarding card for a 60 days visa exemption and free stamp. Formally the requirements still are cash equal to 20K baht in cash only if you’re asked in the immigration.

Legally you must be able to show 20,000 baht or equivalent in another major currency in cash only. Normally not asked for unless they're looking for a reason to deny entry to you.

No forms to fill out currently. Make sure you keep your boarding pass for the flight that will arrive in Thailand and give that with your passport to the immigration officer. For some reason they always want that.
