Hello, I am getting my documents ready to apply for DTV when I leave Thailand - I will be applying in UK (or at the airport when I’ve got my stamp out of Thailand if I can). Do I need to have my bank statements downloaded on the day I apply or can it be a few days before? And is 3 months of bank statements suffice? Thank you

I am currently preparing my application for the DTV Visa to settle in Thailand, and I’ve encountered a situation that left me quite confused.

On the official embassy website, they list all the required documents for this visa, but there is no mention of needing flight or accommodation details. However, when I tried to submit my application, I was asked for an arrival and departure date, a flight number, and proof of accommodation.

* My main concerns:I cannot book a flight without knowing whether my visa will be approved, especially since the Thai Embassy in Paris takes about a month to process applications.

Additionally, they ask for accommodation details, but I would rather wait until my visa is approved before making any reservations.

* Question : Has anyone here faced this situation? How did you manage to fill out these fields without booking a flight or accommodation?

Furthermore, I’d like to know if it’s possible to submit a spouse visa application for my partner at the same time as my DTV Visa to avoid wasting more time.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could share your experiences or tips regarding these points. 😊

I submitted my application through the Hanoi embassy on Monday morning. Since the submission, the status has not changed from "Processing: Pending Document Check (1)."

Has anyone experienced this? I have attempted to call them, but most of their phone numbers do not work, and the one that does, no one picks up. Has anyone had difficulty contacting them? An email has been sent, but I have received no answer.

I applied on the 2nd December. They asked for more documents today (6th December) I sent the required documents and my visa was approved 2 hours later.

I see some people have been required to provide paid taxes returns. Is this required now as I don't see it listed anywhere online?
