I am and American currently living in Thailand applying for the DTV in HCMC for digital nomad workcation. I have all the requested documents and bank statements listed. I see some people have been required to provide paid taxes returns. Is this required now as I don't see it listed anywhere online?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A US citizen applying for the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in HCMC might encounter varying requirements regarding tax documentation. While paid tax returns are not universally required, it is advisable to have copies of your US Federal Income Tax Returns from 2022 and 2023 on hand, as individual circumstances may lead authorities to request them. Ultimately, the necessity for tax returns may depend on the discretion of the Thai Embassy or Consulate.
